Seit letztem Jahr gibt es die Combo Poplar Bluff. Ihre Improvisationen, die sich zwischen experimenteller Electronica mit Ambient-Techno bewegen, ergeben ganz eigene Soundlandschaften. Gerade ist ihr zweites Album "Beech Planet" fertig geworden.

Poplar Bluff is a city in Missouri and an analogue electronics & delays collective somewhere between Leipzig and Berlin. Shady streets. Shy people. Mild climate. Poplars and palm trees prosper, the last mountains have left a long time ago. Poplar Bluff are Olivier Gobelet, Philipp Rohé and Kurt Spandau.
