DJ Jaakko Eino Kalevi
 
Combining synth-pop, folk, funk, and psych-rock into trippy experimental pop, multi-instrumentalist Jaakko Eino Kalevi grew up in Jyväskylä, a city in central Finland. He began making music as a boy after discovering Dream Theater's prog-metal and hip-hop, teaching himself how to play guitar and use beat-making software before exploring reggae, disco, techno, and more. Kalevi issued a string of releases reflecting his omnivorous musical taste, including 2010's coldwave-inspired album Modern Life and 2013's hazy, fittingly named Dreamzone EP. The following year, he released the disco homage Yin Yang Theatre, an EP on DJ Tim Sweeney's Beats in Space label. His 2015 self-titled album arrived via the Domino imprint Weird World.

Long-Sam
 
Long-Sam is an artist and producer based in Helsinki. His dreamy and unique style ranges from noisy atonal sounds to straightforward pop melodies and harmony. A powerful sonic wall is created with analogue synths and drum machines on stage. The dark and profound approach certainly keeps flirting with the aesthetic of techno and experimental music while still embracing the beauty of classic synth-pop hits. In 2015, this talent was acknowledged on various festivals in Scandinavia. The starting new year will surely spread the message further.

Melting Hearts
 
Melting Hearts is the stage name for the singer and composer Samuel Meri. Active since 2011 Melting Hearts has created a career out of missing deadlines and canceling upcoming releases (Samuel was once voted as "the laziest artist in Helsinki"), still managing to leave enough of an impression to be booked as a support act for artists like Julia Holter, Maria Minerva and Molly Nilsson in Helsinki, and The Space Lady on several dates in the UK last October. Between the sprees of performing Samuel Meri works as a librarian and starts each morning with a fresh carrot.
