African Fabrics Release

With the release of the acclaimed compilation “Rio Baile Funk Favela Booty Beats”, Berlin based DJ, producer, journalist and label boss Daniel Haaksman introduced the sound of Rio's favelas. Since then he has been exploring music outside the western sphere like kuduro and Angolan semba. In 2005 Haaksman started Man Recordings (Diplo, Schlachthofbronx, Crookers) today considered to be one of the leading international labels for tropical bass music. At ACUD he will celebrate the release of his third album “African Fabrics.”
