PLASTICZOOMS are a three piece rock outfit from Tokyo. Compiling elements of 70's punk, 80's post punk, new wave, and gothic genres all into the core of a new sense of sound, they seek to establish themselves in ways beyond precedent in the Tokyo scene.

TAKESHI NISHIMOTO is a classically­ trained guitarist and composer who is conversant with European, Northern Indian and American jazz traditions. In addition to collaborations with artists like sitar master Rahul Sakyaputra and I'm Not a Gun associate John Tejada, he has also performed extensively as a solo artist.
