Small But Hard Label Night

SMALL BUT HARD RECORDS is a home for underground music and art established in Berlin and London. Spearheaded by DJ Scotch Egg and visual artist Simon Fowler, the label is based around a collective of artists with a sharp punk aesthetic and boundless curiosity. Dedicated to unearthing the raw and the real, the label's back catalogue spans noise, hip hop, and the heaviest of dub.

K-THE-I??? cut his teeth in high school freestyle cyphers and starting making a name for himself after collaborations with Cambridge, MA crews such as The Lost Channel and Komadose in the early 2000s. Kiki Ceac aka K-The-I??? is an MC and producer born in Cambridge, MA, but based in Los Angeles, California. While his spastic machinations retain a glitchy serrated edge, they are now injected with a warm sense of melody upon a backbone of vibrant synths and brilliantly-culled samples.

WALTER GROSS:In the berlin based DJ music, hip hop destruction meets demented grunge vocal in a furious scat orgy. It should not make sense, but somehow Walter Gross has tapped into the vein of some other realm, and peels back a pair of grotty curtains to reveal glimpses of the divine and the unholy.
