A violinist in video light, two conductor's hands in motion tracking, an English horn player who shares control of his instrument with a new type of active-passive electronics: these are the protagonists of newly created
“solos with extensions”, which decipher situations of solo music decode, recode or disrupt the supposed autonomy of solo music-making. They resonate in duos whose “duality” is also productively questioned and combine with monologic-monolithic loudspeaker sounds.
