“The Fire That Ignited Her*: Education & Reparations inside the Museum” invites Ibou Diop, member of Barazani, to introduce the modes of resilience and advocacy in migrant communities when dealing with histories of remembering inside cultural and museum administrations. We re-imagine the voices and testimonies of objects inside the museums and their owners as an afro-futuristic proposition in navigating oppression, class division and the role of advocacy and representation of migrant and refugee communities inside the work of restitution and reparations.
The panel discussion is open to public and published afterwards via Reboot.fm and Refuge Worldwide.
