“Ueberdrüssig / My Name Is Foreigner: On Ancestral Healing” looks at the states of displacements, mental health and modes of de-traumatisation through models of care and solidarity in the words of Semra Ertan. With reflections on Zwoisy Mears-Clarke’s The Unnamed Wake, we are given readings into BiPOC and FLINTA experiences which continue to be largely dismissed by medical & healthcare services which can be difficult to access for a population that covers the highest percentage of lowest wage labor work sustaining Germany’s infrastructure. Activist Napuli Langa reflects on family trauma-related experiences forming the ways in which we position our identities and politics.
The panel discussion is open to public and published afterwards via Reboot.fm and Refuge Radio.
