Goethe-Institut in Exile – Cultural festival on the new country focus Belarus

From 22 to 25 March 2024, the Goethe-Institut in Exile will host an interdisciplinary cultural festival at Kunsthaus ACUD in Berlin focusing on the vitality and diversity of the Belarusian cultural scene in the diaspora inside and outside Germany.
The diverse event programme includes a concert by singer Valerie Dele and her band KOOB, performances by the artistic collectives Kriwi and Keep Minsk Weird, literary events with Alhierd Bacharevič and Eva Vieznaviec, theatre performances, a selected film programme and more. The full programme will be published mid-March.
The project Goethe-Institut in Exile is dedicated to artists and cultural workers from countries where cultural institutions like the Goethe-Institut are either unable to work fully or can only work to a limited extent due to war, censorship or political repression.
