Tracing Pathways - In conversation with Hana Yoo and Trang Tran

In this event, we will discuss the artistic practices of representation, as applied by Hana Yoo in her solo show „Elbow room“. How can the experience of violence be shown without running danger of reducing its complexity? How does the story of rats flow into the story of a youtuber? Both, the pathways of producing this particular exhibition as well as encountering it will be traced by Hana Yoo and Trang Tran.
Trang Tran is a cultural educator at „Theater an der Parkaue“. Tran studied Anthropology and Political Sciences in Berlin and has been a longtime member Berlin Asian Film Network as well as Migrationsrat Berlin e.V. She is engaged in (post-)migrant and cultural politics, co-authoring cultural policy papers such as "FAIRSTAGE Maßnahmenkatalog“ (Projekt FAIRSTAGE) and "Call to Access“ (Diversity Arts Culture).
The event happens in the framework of Berlin Art Prize 2022 Programme
