Texte zur Kunst invites you to celebrate the release of our latest issue, "Noise/Silence," with us with a concert featuring three solo sets by artists/musicians who contributed texts to the issue. After the concert, please stick around for a DJ set by a very special guest.

Michaela Melián
... is an artist, musician, and professor at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg, and lives in Hamburg and Munich. Her latest record “Music from a Frontier Town” was released in May as part of the eponymous project for Public Art Munich 2018. Some of her radio works can be heard in the exhibition “Radiophonic Spaces” at the Museum Tinguely Basel and the House of World Cultures Berlin. In 2018 she received the Edwin-Scharff-Preis from the city of Hamburg.
Cevdet Erek
... is an artist and musician based in Istanbul. He is co-founder of the experimental rock band, Nekropsi, and recipient of the 2012 Nam June Paik Award.
Andrea Neumann
... is a musician and composer in the fields of new music and experimental music in Berlin, where she also lives. She is part of the collective LABOR SONOR, which has been running a concert series since 2000, and festivals in Berlin since 2015.
