Paper & Iron are bringing drums, bass and guitar back to ACUD Club: Skopje based punk rock outfit Bernays Propaganda will be presenting their new album “Politika.” Opening up for them will be four piece indie rock group Beta from Berlin.

It is clear from the get-go that BERNAYS PROPAGANDA have approached things differently for their fourth album. “Politika” flirts with electronic new-wave, taking away some of the guitars’ sharp edges, while the pace is dictated by a drum machine. The new material recalls the sound of New Order and other new-wave artists from the early 80s, as well as the sounds of German indietronic in the vein of The Notwist. “Politika” is permeated by a more melancholy tone putting the vocals more in the spotlight. Lyrically they are as fierce as ever, uncompromisingly commenting on the modern way of living and position of each individual in the contemporary madness called democracy. // Bandcamp

BETA CITY is the coming together of four Berlin based friends creating music in the continuous vain and front of Dana Lahis, 29 year old Israeli singer song writer from Haifa, Israel. Their dirty indie rock takes the listener to a shoegaze grungy masquerade. Beta City takes older songs, mixing it with new sounds, embracing it with a new coat highly pushed by a lot of drive and punk rock. // Bandcamp
