VERT: The New York Times has compared the music of the group to John Cage; Boomkat has compared it to Robbie Williams. Since his first release in 1996, Broken Brekbeat Bebop, Adam Butler has produced a wide range of music, all built around the building blocks of piano and electronics. The Days Within is his second album of songwriting (after 2006's Some Beans and an Octopus, which featured on end of year best-of lists from Pitchfork, among many others). He is joined on stage by TAYLOR SAVVY (Gonzales, Peaches, Jamie Liddell, and many solo projects) on double bass and ANDREA BELFI (David Grubbs, Mike Watt, Aidan Baker, as well as several solo releases) on drums.
 
GUIDO MÖBIUS: Listeners who only know the music of the Berlin musician through his releases are in for surprise when they attend one of his gigs. Live, Möbius makes no attempt whatsoever to translate the album tracks: using just his guitar, his voice, a trumpet and loads of effect pedals, he instead creates highly energetic music that flickers between humour and hypnosis. His live sets turn from experimentation to handmade techno, from funk to polyrhythmic patterns, acid, weird noises or gospel music.
