Since December 2017 the PatSel crew released Schmeichel's & Tinkah's Herbs as well as A Dream In The Life Of Tinkah. These two releases are pertaining to a common musical narrative the two cohabitants and friends tended to create within the last months. We are proud to host Schmeicks and Tinkah as musicians and friends of the PatSel family. More productions of these two talents will follow for sure on Pattern//Select!

VAMILIENFATER [live]
is the moniker of Fillipp Vingerhoets, co-founder of the „bohemian drips“ label and artist collective. His musical vision emerges from the electronic amplification of everyday life, blending a mix of family life- / urban- and / nature- soundscapes, based on lo-fi field recordings, into crippling artefacts from VHS Tapes, encrusted cassettes and digital feedback glitches. He is working with VCR Hifi, 4 Track/8Track machines, no input/fx chains, electro acoustics and modular synthesis. His work-ethos is following the idea of the abolition of the performing artist, as the creation of his works is based on copying
and copying the sounds endless times from one medium to another, then playing it from un-synced sources. re-blending it together. The result is a self-oscillating sound organism, breathing slowly in long repetitions, barely controllable and unique in its moment of happening.
