Soul Feeder collective is happy to announce the first INDEX party in Berlin. For this first Berlin edition we wanted to celebrate the many interesting musical realities that populate the underground scene in the city.
Index is the tangible expression of a global artistic network brought together by Soul Feeder with the aim of merging local scenes with the international underground community, always in the name of avant-garde.
LINE-UP
Rui Ho [Genome, Objects Ltd]
is a Berlin based Chinese artist making electronic music that bridges the modern club music influences with traditional Chinese sounds.
Their music is influenced by a wide range of club genres combining the intensity of club sounds with sweet and refreshing melodies from their past and present.
Bungalovv [Trrueno/Infinite Machine]
... is the electronic alternative music project lead by Pablo Betas, a core member of the international acclaimed label Infinite Machine and also founder of Trrueno. His sound is the anchorage of middle eastern rhythms, african percussion, pre-columbian instruments and latin american shades. All these elements are articulated forming an experimental ecosystem where a nocturnal, robotic and mechanical faunas coexist.
MAAY [Trrueno]
... is the alias and musical project of multidisciplinary artist DJ/Producer Mayte Stevani from Buenos Aires based in Berlin. Her sets include a hybrid and deconstructed style between dark atmospheres, latin rhythms and emotional trance melodies. She is part of the collective and label TRRUENO, where she started djing and hosting different rave parties.
XOF [Oxyorange]
Hidden, repressed, cursed, or denigrated nonhuman communicative agency. Electro-Occult hyperstition entity that traffics between zones. Motive force, without final purpose. Co-Founder of OXYORANGE and SIRENS, worldbuilding 3D-Artist and collector of sounds from the demonic interzone.
t0ni [Soul Feeder], t0ni is an Italo-Australian electronic music producer, founder and artistic director for label, online magazine and art-collective Soul Feeder. His work as a producer under this moniker blends strong electronic experimentation together with pop sounds and trends in search of common ground between two diametrically opposite worlds.
DJ Hristos [Soul Feeder]
... is the artistic project conceived in Berlin on the day of Orthodox Easter by the queer DJ and producer Ion Hristu. The work of Hristos takes an intersectional approach on the fight against discrimination and power abuse toward marginalized identities as they exist in capitalist and consumerist societies. Manele, neomelodico napoletano and other music genres that come from people that live on the margins of society are the greatest influences on Hristos’s art project. The attempt to promote music expression from urban communities is, then, Hristos’s main aim.
DJ Ghepard [Soul Feeder]
... is the break-y gabba project of the Berlin-based producer st.fkn.michael, where he combines his passion for hardcore electronic music and video-games. During his sets he creates a sonic play-trough between different virtual realities, projected on after the other on the dance-floor, spacing from old-school gabber, j-core, breakcore and the newest form of digital hardcore.
