Founded in early 2016 in Shanghai, Genome 6.66 Mbp has gained a powerful reputation both inside of China and internationally. Starting out with a thrilling 18-track compilation featuring local and international producers such as Swan Meat, Shyqa, Yoshitaka Hikawa and Dirty K, Genome 6.66 Mbp has followed up with some of the freshest-sounding releases today, including a collaboration between Ju ca and Yoshitaka Hikawa, RUI HO’s debut single, jointly released with Berlin Community Radio, and a mesmerising, genre-bending EP by Australian producer/vocalist Wa?ste.
 
Genome 6.66 Mbp also runs a regular Genome party in Shanghai, aiming to bring in some of the most innovative and exciting musicians around the world to China. Previous shows have featured Mobilegirl, Murlo, Lao, Why Be, Dinamarca, and Rabit.
