An evening with two prolific guys: Allie and Heimer. If they were asked to write a soundtrack to a film, you would be thrown into many worlds which run parallel. Just when you were thinking the mood was becoming still — Allie would change it up and show you another side even with it's softness, movement would be felt and he would tear open another layer and Heimer with his multifaceted sides would build up the beats and take you somewhere else not like crashing a party but make you feel that you were supposed to be right there, like when inside your headphones in the U-bahn and you catch your reflection and see your head bouncing and look up and connect eyes to someone who you you hope gets it too. Sure you have been around, and you know he has been around too.. for his 27 years quite a lot.. with much to share for the years here in Berlin or his short story in NYC, four albums worth, a soundtrack and more in the works... were you there? Those many years ago at M:Soundtrack before a smoke machine had ever seen the stage at the good old chocolate store? OR together with my good friend and then Allie's labelmate Chris Garneau? Or perhaps at #TSF14? So nonetheless, one can say that I've been following the career of dear Allie and I am extremely happy to have him back again, this time at new digs and with full band. Please join me post- Birthday & Post U.S Election for a great evening with Berlin heroes and friends and pssst.. A great opener who remains under wraps for now.
 
A mysterious boy from Berlin, a self-created fictional character, a musician producing emotional pieces that are subtly touching and overwhelming at the same time. Already been called "the quietest rapper in the world", Allie released his self-titled fourth album last summer with a big party at Antje Öklesund (RIP). Recorded DIY-style in the homestudio of befriended band SEA + AIR and heavily influenced by the wacky beauty of cheesy stadium-pop like Michael Jackson & Enya, Sci-fi flicks like Blade Runner and trap hip hop like Gucci Mane. Including guest appearances by Berlin-based rapper and poet black cracker, the pianist Nuño and the mighty opera voice of houaïda, who will also be performing in his backing band at ACUD.

HEIMER
... is an up-and-coming electronic musician, producer and visual artist based in Berlin, Germany. With his hip-hop, dance and pop influences, he bridges the gap between genres like grime, dubstep, footwork, skweee, acid-jazz and soul. His debut album "Teilzeit Swag“ is an adventurous musical journey, that is as visceral as it is meditational, as intricately composed as it is eclectic, all while telling a story about part-time living, the joy of skiing and a shady hill named "Beverly“. Meticulously dug out samples are layered with funky synths, gruff rock guitars, bold melodies, and dry electronics before they melt into a unique kaleidoscope of musical styles.
 
From "Icy Grips's" bouncy introduction, to "Amiga-3D-Säure’s" hippie-esque 70's vibe, to "White Out Part. II’s“ dark grime theme, onto "Smacks United’s“ mellow jazzy outro - Teilzeit Swag has a common thread that runs through recurring parts of deep flows, strong melodies and unexpected breaks. While its first Single "Beverly The Hill“ falls into a catchy slow and deep hip-hop groove that is hard to escape, "Uni-T’s“ almost chaotic and nervously expanding vibe pushes the envelope onto next level soundscapes. Due to Heimer’s long time interest in the mechanics and inner-workings of recording and musical equipment, he has been able to teach himself how to fix, customize and create homemade and found musical equipment. His fascination for music and sonic exploration results in a broad spectrum of creative of musical output.
