ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, COLIN SELF emerged from the experimental basements of Riot Grrl culture, and grew into the New York underground. His trans- disciplinary practices of performance and voice have spread his presence into clubs and galleries worldwide, uniting the global queer underground with energetic, ferocious live shows. He is a graduate student at Bard Milton-Avery in Music & Sound and has performed and shown work internationally at The Modern Institute, Issue Project Room, PS1 MoMA, MOCA Miami, Suzanne Geiss, and The Hammer Museum. He is a 2015 Eyebeam Fellow and 2013 Rhizome Commission recipient. Expanding the vernacular of avant-garde electronic music, Colin presents powerful physicality and vocal rigor, demonstrating an optimistic experience of harmonic cyborgism.

DAWN MOK is an open collective with roots in Berlin, Seoul, Virginia, Bangkok and California. After releasing 'Am' via Beastonleash and an often highlighted contribution to Dial Records' 15th anniversary compilation, their debut album 'Eternal Love' was released in November 2015 via Dial. Produced over the course of a year, mixed with the help of Ville Haimala aka Renaissance Man, mastered by PAN's Rashad Becker, and with artwork by Janus' Dan DeNorch, the album is primarily the product of the combination of Lo-fi rooted producer Felix Mura, vocalist Bundi and pianist Kathy Kwon: with the three musicians coming from entirely different backgrounds, the album is an unclassifiable amalgamation of approaches, beginning with Pop- and RnB-inflected vocals and extensive as much as narrative arrangements, venturing into deep and dark shades beyond said genres
