Followed by an After Party with KOW & Capitain Petzel:
And later, in an empty room, lying prostrate… a low thrum… a rising brume…
The two axes of language carries you along; an imaginary line about which a body rotates.
Merge one body into another, time functioning as a spindle.
When you hear the static crackling, you remember a distant ringing, a game of musical chairs, the shape of your mother’s body at dusk—or was it your father?
Traipse across overdetermined points until they cohere into a single vibrating position.
As you turn, you see yourself: shadow on surface. In a moment of revelation/identity, you recognize yourself in this external negation, your displacement as form.

LUC LE TRUC [Je Danse Donc Je Suis, Hambourg]
LUC LE TRUC
With his Hamburg based francophil “Je Danse Donc Je Suis”-parties, Luc Le Truc made a 13 years long warm-up for giving you some ARROGANCE. Meanwhile he made stopovers i.a. at the Plötzlich or Fusion Festival and Clubs like Golden Pudel. The frenchymusicmadness started back in the 90s with the synthpopboygroup Les Frères Checkolade and the still existing radioshow “multiplication de l’amusement” on FSK 93,0. Trippy, hypnotic, hot like you and cold as ice, but most important: with attitude – this is how Luc Le Truc likes it and this is how his track selection will be for ARROGANCE.
Some say, French hip-hop is the second best in the world, French people say its the N°1… You’ve heard of the classic ones, he’s been around the block digging the old and new ones you haven’t heard. From sampling-wave-instrumental beats to electro-rap-beats he’s putting together a playlist that will make you ask yourself if you wouldn’t be secretly understanding what french people say in your dreams.
A guy named Johnny claims to light the fire… Joe Night will extinguish it with a good cold French wave from “Demain Berlin” (Guerre Froide) and “Cherchez le Garçon” (Taxi Girl) to “Bosphore” (Grand Blanc) and “Si un jour” (La Femme)… Joe Night will serve you some dark, romantic and melancolic new/synth wave with a pinch of French electronic music. FFO: Jacno, Position Parallèle, Guerre Froide, Trisomie21, Grand Blanc…
