Art Kill Art

ACUD CLUB 20h → Concert

ARTKILLART is a label based in Paris and Berlin, created in 2007. Its purpose is to promote experimental audiovisual and sound art. In reaction to dematerialized music, the artists of the label refocus on material objects. They are invited to conceptualize and design an object exploring the quality, the complexity and the limits of different media- conceived as an experience both for the artist and the audience. // Website

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Using a rudimentary electroacoustic device built around a repaired turntable (pickup), a prepared-mixer and other primitive equipment that need manipulation, ARNAUD RIVIÈRE practices free improvisation, playing solo, in groups and through collaborations, since the late 90’s. // Website

Through site-specific interventions, sound, sculpture, actions, and publications in diverse formats, MARIO DE VEGA's research explores the value of failure, vulnerability, and simulation. His work has been exhibited in different contexts throughout Mexico, North America, South Africa, India, Russia, Japan, and around Europe. He lives and works in Berlin and Mexico City. // Homepage

Born in Bolzano (IT), JD ZAZIE is a DJ, turntablist and sound artist based in Berlin. Coming from a DJ and a radiophonic background JD Zazie has explored over the years different approaches of real-time manipulation on fixed recorded sound. In her work she redefines DJ and electroacoustic activities. Intended as music instruments CDjs, turntables and mixer are her tools to mix the specific sound-sources she plays mostly electronic music, electroacoustic music, musique concrète, field recordings and improvised music. // Tumblr
